Whether you’re a flower enthusiast or just looking for an appropriate gift for a loved one, What Flower? can be a useful app for anyone. For as long as anyone can remember, we have used flowers for almost every reason imaginable. Developed by cake break, What Flower? has a database of over 250 flowers. Each flower listing comes with the flower’s additional names, regions, seasons, and colors. Also included are the emotions associated with the flower, occasions it’s commonly used for and its meanings. I particularly liked that What Flower? had sharp, beautiful images of each flower that you can view without even being online, making it useful to iPod Touch users as well.
Flowers are searchable by name but they are also sorted by color, emotion, occasion, season and region. There is a Favorites section you can add flowers to for quick reference and access to. Another nice function that can help in bouquet arrangement is the Compare feature, which allows you to compare up to four different flowers as well as their meanings and occasions.
With its beautiful graphics and easy to use interface, What Flower? is a great flower database for any flower enthusiast and gift-giver. It is currently $2.99 in the App Store though cake break also released a limited but free version, What Flower? Lite, if you’d like to try it out first.
This 3rd Party App is available at the Apple iTunes AppStore. Browse the full list of all AppStore apps filed under the AppStore category.
